Program Changes

Please note the following line-up changes to MMS network shows. If a show is not listed, it is unchanged. Dates are inclusive.

  • Daylight Saving (EDT) starts 1st Sunday of October at 0200, clocks go forward 1 hour and ends 1st Sunday in April at 0300, clocks go back 1 hour.
  • News Services operate to their normal schedules throughout the year; the exception is weekend format will apply for a two week period from Christmas Day to the Friday following News Years Day.
    • NSW News will operate to weekend format from 25 December to 5 January, inclusive
    • Qld News will operate to weekend format from 25 December to 5 January, inclusive
    • Vic News TBA
    • SA News will operate to normal format
    • National Pre-fed News will operate to normal format, noting that on 25 December the final bulletin is at 1150 EDT
    • Rural News will not be available from 25 December to 5 January, inclusive.
  • Program Changes, including Presenter Leave and replacement announcer(s) - dates are inclusive:
    • Alan Jones Comments and Highlights 6 to 15 December, replacement Chris Smith.
    • Alan Jones Comments and Highlights not available from 18 December to 12 January, inclusive.

    • Ray Hadley Country Music Countdown not available from wc 18 December, returning wc 22 January.
    • Chris Smith 6 to 15 December, filling in for Alan Jones on Breakfast, Afternoon replacement is Deborah Knight.
    • Neil Mitchell 18 December to 12 January, replacements as follows:
      • 18 to 29 December, Tony Jones

      • Neil Mitchell 8 to 12 January, Heidi Murphy
    • Leon Byner Show will be affected by Cricket coverage, it will end as follows:
      • 23, 24 & 27 November ending early at 10:00 CDT

      • 4, 5 & 8 January - no show available
    • Tom Elliott 18 December to 12 January, replacement Nick McCallum
    • Philip Brady 24 December to 13 January, replacement is Andrew McLaren
